Developed as part of Save The Loom’s ‘Build Back Better’ social impact project the textiles support women artisans, allied workers, and self-help groups in Kerala.
The product is dyed, woven and finished by hand and may have slight irregularities that are natural outcome of the human involvement in the process, and it makes every piece unique.

For the first wash, soak the sari for 10-15 minutes in a bucket of warm water mixed with rock salt to ensure that the colour latches on to the sari. This will prevent the sari from bleeding colour during subsequent washes.
To remove the starch, soak the sari in cold water for 30 minutes and then rinse, dry and steam iron the sari to remove all traces of starch.
